I think that most of use can agree that all restaurants have an "off" day now and then. But most of us are willing to overlook that at least one, sometimes twice or three times, and give the restaurant another chance. However, what we are NOT willing to deal with is this type of behavior from the restaurant's managers, employees, or executives. There is absolutely no need for his belligerence. Had he let it go, your review of the restaurant would have probably been viewed as an "off" day, but now HE is causing irreparable damage to the reputation of his own restaurant. What an absolute idiot!!

I think you should cease this back and forth with him, as he is being completely unreasonable and offering nothing but veiled threats (or not so veiled anymore), and take the matter to your local news media.Kristi @ Addicted 2 Decoratinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03874839079854084237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19139604.post-60801814833009896792008-09-12T23:30:00.000+02:002008-09-12T23:30:00.000+02:00OMG!!! I saw this on BC and had to come and check ...OMG!!! I saw this on BC and had to come and check it out for myself. It just boggles the brain that this idiot is in a managerial position. The fact that he would continue in such an inflammatory and abusive manner when dealing with a customer is absurd. Where did he learn his customer service skills? You stated the facts and adjusted the possible error but he never gives anything else that could possibly be inaccurate, but resorts to personal attacks and defamatory remarks? Who is defaming Dodge City, him or you by continuing in this manner? I have to wonder if his superiors have any clue what he is up to? I would forward everything to the president of the corporation and let them see what an ass he is making of himself and their image.
Good luck on your battle with this idiot. I'll have to tune in and see how this pans out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19139604.post-46083931022300811202008-09-12T23:22:00.000+02:002008-09-12T23:22:00.000+02:00I saw you asking about this on BC and had to come ...I saw you asking about this on BC and had to come here and read everything. OMG!! Is this guy serious? How did he get to me a manager? You aren't the problem he is. If he would shut his mouth it would have all blown over and no harm, no fowl. By his demanding you cave to his requests he is showing that Dodge City doesn't care a wit for their customers. As you stated, if you were a restaurant critic on a food website, would they have gone this far and attacked you? What do they think this does for their corporate image? As you stated, he has not refuted anything you stated as fact except the time frame so what is this dude's major malfunction? It seems that he has a particular agenda directed at you and not the fact that his service sucked which he agreed with. I would take this up the ladder and forward everything to the individuals above his head and let them see who is defaming their precious reputation, him or you. I think they might put a stop to this idiots rantings.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19139604.post-4471966345399054052008-09-12T22:00:00.000+02:002008-09-12T22:00:00.000+02:00You should submit this to Consumerist.com for cons...You should submit this to Consumerist.com for consideration.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00540569845094142429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19139604.post-28452724578967013192008-09-12T17:28:00.000+02:002008-09-12T17:28:00.000+02:00Oh goodness! I have been in the customer service industry for over 15 years (and was a waitress once upon a time) ... and you learn quickly to apologise to the customer (cause they are the customer and your revenue) and then shut up. The company has made it worse and worse each time they respond. I will ensure that none of my friends go to Dodge City and should they then they should take 'Customer Service for Dummies' with them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
