Free sewing pattern!

PLEASE NOTE: Angels Weekly is no longer on the web. You can find the pattern here: http://www.sayorkshires.com/playing-dress-up-f6/diaper-pattern-t554.htm#6417 . Print it out so that the largest pattern piece fills the page from top to bottom. If you have a larger dog, print out the pattern and take it to a copy shop and have it enlarged.

If you would like to make the cute little doggie diapers that I use on Puddin' to prevent her from wetting on the bed and furniture, you can now download it in a .pdf format from Angels Weekly http://www.angelsezine.com/. Just go to the site, put "diapers" in the search box (it is in the upper right quadrant of the screen) and it will take you to an article on doggie diapers written by yours truly (Violet Burroughs is my nom de plume).

Scroll to the bottom of the article and click the download button and when the pattern shows up on your screen, save or print.

Enjoy and may your pup look as cute in them as Puddin' does!

  5. Thank you so very much for sharing your pattern with us. Could you please tell me in your opinion will this pattern as it is printed be the correct size for a 6 pound Chihuahua? It isn't marked to the size it would be used for. Thanks again for your kindness.

  6. This was designed for a Yorkshire Terrier puppy, but made with waist tabs so that you can custom fit it to dogs of varying sizes. Puddin' is now 6 lbs herself and still wears them (she is now house trained, but she wears them when we go out to make sure she doesn't have "accidents"). It should fit a 6 lb chihuahua without alteration...just make sure to fit the waist tabs to the dog before stitching on the velcro.

  12. Trisha, I used it for my Yorkies. One is 7 lbs, the other is 4 lbs. You can enlarge it by putting it on a copy machine and enlarging the output.

  14. Please please send me the pattern! I have looked and loooked and have been unsuccessful in finding one that I can sew..My doxie went down in her back legs with IVDD and is incontinent. She just shredds the pampers to pieces so I thought the cloth ones would be more comfortable and offer more protection!!

    Thank you!

    Blessings!

  15. hi! this is a very cute and very useful pattern to have and not just for yorkies or dogs with wee problems. I want to stop my 6 month year old shih-tzu, Suki, from becomming "intimate" with her older playmate Sammy until she's atleast, oh 40 years old!

If you can send the pattern to me too i would appreciate it very much!
