Hubby has named him "Bob the BuilderBird." Below you can see his nest (the lower one...I haven't seen his branch-mate yet).
Here he is, in all his glory, working on his house. What a gorgeous fellow!

wow~ I always want to have a bird pet at home. The nest looks awesome. It seems like somebody made it for Bob. hehe...
ReplyDeleteThat must be really wonderful to watch, the nest is so interesting and the bird is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThese are great pictures! Such an intricate nest--and what an industrious little fellow!
ReplyDeleteIt really does seem the essence of spring where you are. Makes me want to jump on a plane and go to SA!

Awww now I really hope that his mate approves of the nest!
ReplyDeleteWow! Fabulous photos - Never seen anything like it. Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteFantastic those pictures!
ReplyDeleteAnd I see what you mean with the header. Looks great. It gives a very open look, everything in one colour and over the whole page.
Positively FASCINATING! I've never seen anything like this! Thanks so much for sharing this - a true wonderment!
ReplyDeleteInteresting - apparently they are not concerned about raiding predators. I think I have never seen a nest so exposed. And yes, fascinating.
